May 6, 2012 – 75th Anniversary of the Crash of the Hindenburg

To commemorate this tragic event, The National Lighter-Than-Air Historical Center will present a free screening of “The Hindenburg”, at the Akron-Summit County Main Library.

MZ-3A Airship Gets Reprieve

With funding literally almost gone, the Navy’s MZ-3A airship left Florida in late February. Destination…  Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst to be deflated and put into “mothballs”. The airship arrived at Lakehurst on the afternoon of Monday, February 27.
