Commemoration of two Ohio Historical Markers honoring Dr. Karl Arnstein and the Akron airdock were unveiled on September 22, 2003. The site of the markers is near Piscitellis restaurant (the former terminal building of the Akron-Fulton International Airport). Read a fine article by columnist David Giffels in the Akron Beacon Journal.

During the meeting, we will show a video of the dedication of these historic markers for Karl Arnstein and the Airdock. If you missed it, this will be your chance to see the entire ceremony. If you were there volunteering you may have been too busy to see the entire event. In either case, this time it will be warm and dry!
