We are delighted to announce that we have now received the 2 key documents needed for First Flight from our regulators.

The Airlander has received both the Flight Conditions approval certificate from EASA (the European Aviation Safety Agency) and the Permit to Fly from the UK’s CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) and flight is now authorized once it has completed the agreed ground-testing and associated documentation. This clearly demonstrates the regulators’ confidence in Airlander, and the development team’s ability to safely flight test the aircraft.

We will not be announcing the First Flight date just yet, before we get asked by all of you!
