Attention Akron Area LTA Veterans

The Akron Airship Historical Center is attempting to locate the names all Navy LTA WWII Vets from the greater Akron area. Currently known are over 225 names (many deceased). These are listed on this web page (click here to see the list) and will be periodically updated. Although the recognition probably will list only the names, the Historical Center requests the following information:

• Full name (+ nick-name)
• Service dates
• Squadrons/groups/departments/etc.
• Locations served
• Current address or address of person submitting information (home and/or e-mail)
• Phone number
• Any other information or stories about the vet
